Perfect Listing FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have my sign as well as yours on the property?
No. The marketing right you give up when you list with us is your “for sale” sign. Having another sign posted could potentially interfere with agent showings so we only have one sign on the property.

Can I run an ad in the paper or list my house on the Internet?
Yes. The marketing right you give up when you list with us is the yard sign, but you are free to run ads in the paper. If you find a Buyer who is not working with an agent, you have the option of calling and letting us know you’ve sold the property. We will then  prepare the contract, organize title, escrow and closing, we will do so and you pay just 2%.

If someone drives up outside of my house, can I invite them in and try to sell the home myself?
No – if someone is driving up in front of your home, it is most likely due to some of our marketing.  They most likely saw an advertisement of your home, saw the Grand Virtual Tour, or called us and decided to do a “Drive By”.  You can invite them in, and if they are not working with an agent, we will cut our commission to 4% as our Perfect Listing plan dictates.  As many people do drive bys, we would hope that our clients do not try to get around any commission by chasing down people we have sent to the property and claiming they procured the buyer.  This may happen, but we know that most people will stand by the listing agreement, just as we stand by the terms of our contract.  We will ask every buyer how they came upon the property when writing the contract.
